You may remember that we sent out a survey earlier this summer checking in with you about ways we can help you even more and what you’re interested in learning about more.
Overwhelmingly, you told us you want to hear more about communication and relationships, so we’ve focused on this in our Summer course.
However, we didn’t just do this because it’s what you told us you want 😉
Summer is naturally the time when we feel more like socializing and connecting with other people. The warmer weather seduces us out of the house, so we tend to meet more friends and lovers simply because it’s easier to meet them at a barbecue than sitting at home on a Netflix binge.
For women who menstruate, ovulation is considered your summer season, and it’s the time when you naturally feel both more social and romantic, which makes sense when you consider the purpose of ovulation — making babies.
So it’s not just all the summer movies about romance blossoming at the beach…summer love is quite literally part of our DNA.
No matter what your relationship status (or what you want it to be), we invite you to spend some time this August turning up the heat on your life by incorporating a little more ROMANCE.
No, we don’t mean buying yourself or someone else a dozen roses (though that can be incredibly romantic if it’s your thing).
Romance is defined as “a quality or feeling of mystery, excitement, and remoteness from everyday life.”
EXCITEMENT, y’all! That’s all romance is!
